Remove frozen sticks from the freezer and repeat dipping in beaten egg, then breadcrumbs for a thicker coating. Place them back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for an additional 15 minutes until fully frozen.

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C) five minutes before cooking to ensure even heating.

Place the frozen mozzarella sticks in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, spraying lightly with cooking spray. If necessary, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.

Cook the mozzarella sticks at 390°F (199°C) for 6 minutes until the outer layer is golden and crispy.
