# What You’ll Need:

→ Protein

01 - 1 pound 93% lean ground beef

→ Produce

02 - 1 medium yellow onion, diced
03 - 12 cherry tomatoes, sliced
04 - 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
05 - 2 tablespoons sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

→ Frozen

06 - 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots

→ Dairy

07 - ½ cup nacho cheese sauce (canned, jarred, or homemade)
08 - ¼ cup sour cream, for topping or serving on the side

→ Pantry

09 - 1 packet taco seasoning mix
10 - ½ cup water

# Steps to Make This:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Arrange frozen tater tots evenly on a parchment-lined or lightly greased baking sheet. Bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
02 - While tater tots bake, heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion. Cook and crumble for about 7 minutes until beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
03 - Stir in taco seasoning mix and ½ cup water to the cooked beef. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens and spices combine.
04 - Remove tater tots from oven and transfer to a serving dish. Layer with seasoned ground beef, nacho cheese sauce, sliced cherry tomatoes, jalapeños, and cilantro if using.
05 - Top with sour cream or serve it on the side as desired. Serve immediately.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For best texture, prepare meat and tater tots separately and assemble just before serving to avoid sogginess.
02 - Tater tots can be cooked in an air fryer in batches if preferred.
