Layers of crispy fried tortillas with seasoned beef, refried beans, enchilada sauce, and cheese in a classic Mexican style.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Protein

01 - 1 lb ground beef

→ Seasoning and Sauces

02 - 1 packet taco seasoning
03 - 180 ml water
04 - 120 g refried beans
05 - 120 ml enchilada sauce

→ Dairy

06 - 170 g shredded Mexican cheese blend

→ Carbohydrates

07 - 4 flour tortillas (8 inches)

→ Fats

08 - Vegetable oil for frying (approx. 500 ml)

# Steps to Make This:

01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, brown and crumble ground beef. Drain excess grease. Return beef to skillet, add taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
02 - Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet to medium-high heat. Fry tortillas one at a time for 2 to 4 minutes, flipping frequently, until crispy and golden. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
03 - Heat refried beans in a microwave-safe bowl until warm to facilitate spreading.
04 - Spread a generous layer of warm refried beans evenly over each fried tortilla. Top with a portion of the seasoned ground beef.
05 - Place another fried tortilla on top of each layered base. Spread approximately 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of enchilada sauce over the top tortilla, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
06 - Arrange assembled pizzas on a large nonstick baking sheet. Bake at 400°F (204°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
07 - Remove from oven and serve immediately with your choice of additional toppings such as diced tomatoes, sliced olives, or green onions.

# Additional Notes:

01 - To reduce oil absorption, ensure the frying oil is sufficiently hot before adding tortillas.
02 - Leftovers store well in an airtight container for up to 2 days and can be frozen for up to 2 months.
