09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
11 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Steps to Make This:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, yellow onion, minced garlic, crumbled bacon, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to evenly distribute all ingredients.
03 - Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
04 - Remove the foil, sprinkle the sliced green onions over the top, stir gently if desired, and serve warm.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a spicier variation, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, or diced jalapenos before baking.
02 - Using fresh bacon enhances texture and flavor, but precooked bacon is acceptable.
03 - Store leftovers in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 5 days and reheat in short microwave intervals.
