Rich creamy pasta paired with savory minced meat and tomato sauce for a comforting, hearty meal.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Pasta and Sauce

01 - 10.5 ounces dried penne or fusilli pasta
02 - 14 ounces minced beef or pork
03 - 14 ounces tomato sauce
04 - 3/4 cup heavy cream (30% fat)

→ Aromatics and Flavor

05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
07 - 1 teaspoon Italian herbs (such as oregano or basil)
08 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Finishing Touch

10 - 1.75 ounces Parmesan cheese, finely grated

# Steps to Make This:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
03 - Add minced meat to the skillet. Stir frequently, breaking up any lumps, and cook until meat is browned throughout.
04 - Pour in the tomato sauce and sprinkle over the Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
05 - Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream and cook gently for 2–3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and well combined.
06 - Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat evenly with the creamy meat sauce.
07 - Divide the creamy pasta among serving plates and top each portion with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a lighter variation, replace heavy cream with plain Greek yogurt. Adjust seasoning after adding cream, as reduced dairy fat may require more salt.
