# What You’ll Need:

→ Main

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
03 - 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
10 - 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, including liquids
11 - 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chiles
12 - 1 small head green cabbage, cored and chopped (about 6 cups)
13 - 1/2 cup beef broth
14 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps to Make This:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine ground beef, chopped onion, and diced green bell pepper. Sauté, breaking up the meat, until beef is fully browned and vegetables are softened, about 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
02 - Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
03 - Mix in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Toss to thoroughly combine.
04 - Pour in beef broth, diced tomatoes with juices, and green chiles. Stir well to deglaze the pan and blend flavors.
05 - Add chopped cabbage, cover skillet with a lid, reduce to medium heat, and cook for 20 minutes until cabbage is tender.
06 - Remove lid, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the skillet, and stir until the cheese has melted completely. Serve immediately.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken. For added color and nutrition, incorporate diced mushrooms or half red cabbage.
