BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders (Printer-Friendly)

Tender pulled pork with melted cheese and bacon, glazed with brown sugar and herbs on Hawaiian rolls.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Sliders

01 - 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
02 - 2 tablespoons butter, softened
03 - 1 pound pulled pork
04 - 2/3 cup barbecue sauce
05 - 6 slices white cheddar cheese
06 - 1/2 pound bacon, chopped into 2 to 3 inch pieces

→ Glaze

07 - 3 tablespoons butter, melted
08 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic

# Steps to Make This:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Place slider rolls on a baking sheet and cut them in half horizontally using a bread knife.
02 - Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter evenly on both the top and bottom halves of the slider rolls. Place the rolls in the oven for a few minutes until they are lightly browned.
03 - Gently warm the pulled pork mixed with the barbecue sauce until heated through.
04 - Evenly distribute the warm pulled pork over the bottom halves of the slider rolls. Layer sliced white cheddar cheese on top of the pork, and sprinkle the chopped bacon evenly over the cheese. Cover with the top halves of the rolls.
05 - Combine melted butter, brown sugar, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Mix until fully incorporated.
06 - Spoon the glaze evenly over the tops of the assembled sliders. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the buns develop a golden brown color.

# Additional Notes:

01 - To avoid soggy buns, browning the rolls before assembling is recommended though optional. Keep sliders attached when baking for quick assembly and easy serving.
